Additional terms for artists who apply to and sell through Debuted.

This Seller Agreement supplements the Terms of Service. You must be at least 18, located in the United States, provide accurate application information, verify your email and phone, and be approved by Debuted. Approval may be revoked or suspended for safety, legal, or policy reasons.
You must complete Stripe Connect identity verification and keep charges and payouts enabled before publishing listings. Stripe, not Debuted, collects and verifies identity documents and payout account information.
You represent that you created or lawfully own every listed work, have authority to sell it, and that the listing and sale do not infringe intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, cultural-property, sanctions, consumer-protection, or other laws. You must accurately describe authorship, medium, dimensions, edition, condition, framing, signature, certificate, price, shipping, and return status.
You may list one original work or a disclosed edition run per listing. Do not sell unavailable inventory, counterfeit work, unauthorized reproductions, hazardous or prohibited materials, or digital-only downloads. Debuted may review, hide, or remove a listing and may use automated image safety screening.
A paid order is binding unless cancelled or refunded under marketplace policy. Package work safely, ship within the stated handling time, use a trackable service, and enter accurate carrier and tracking information. You are responsible for damage caused by inadequate packaging and for communicating promptly about delays.
You must honor the return setting shown at purchase: returns accepted within 14 days or final sale. Final sale does not excuse materially inaccurate descriptions, inauthentic work, damage caused before delivery, or other legal remedies. Cooperate with Debuted’s dispute process and preserve relevant records.
Debuted is merchant of record for buyer payments. The buyer pays Debuted, and Debuted transfers eligible proceeds through Stripe Connect after you mark the order shipped and provide tracking. Stripe then pays out on its schedule.
The standard platform fee is 17% of the item subtotal. Your platform fee is 0% for the first 90 days after approval unless a disclosed seller-specific override applies. Debuted pays Stripe processing fees out of its fee. The applicable fee is fixed on each order. Refunds, disputes, chargebacks, taxes, corrections, or amounts you owe may be deducted from future proceeds or recovered from you as permitted by law.
You are an independent seller, not Debuted’s employee, agent, partner, or franchisee. You are responsible for income and business taxes, permits, registrations, and legal obligations applicable to you. Stripe Tax calculates buyer-facing transaction tax where enabled, but this does not constitute tax advice.
You grant the content license described in the Terms so Debuted can host, display, resize, distribute, and promote your listings and profile. You may use buyer information only to fulfill the order, communicate about it, handle returns, and meet legal obligations. Do not add buyers to marketing lists or disclose their information for unrelated purposes.
Debuted may pause publishing, hide listings, hold or offset amounts where legally permitted, or suspend selling while investigating fraud, infringement, unsafe content, repeated fulfillment failures, excessive disputes, or policy violations. Open orders and lawful payment obligations may survive suspension.
You will defend and indemnify Debuted and its affiliates from third-party claims arising from your artwork, listings, taxes, fulfillment, misuse of buyer data, breach of this Agreement, or violation of law or another person’s rights, to the extent permitted by law.
Debuted may update this Agreement prospectively with reasonable notice for material changes. Continuing to list after the effective date accepts the update. Contact sellers@debuted.com with questions. Entity, address, venue, and any required tax terms must be finalized by counsel before launch.
